St Mary's Family Fun Day

The Young Assyrians (TYA) were honoured to be invited to the Family Fun Day organised by St. Mary’s Assyrian Church of the East. It was a privilege to attend such a vibrant and welcoming event and, as always, an honour to engage with and serve our local community.

We especially valued the opportunity to connect with our youth, sharing conversations, answering questions, and introducing them to the mission, work, and activities of TYA. Seeing their enthusiasm, curiosity, and pride in their identity was truly uplifting and reinforces the importance of investing in the next generation.

The Young Assyrians extends its sincere thanks to St. Mary’s for hosting a wonderful day that brought families together, and to the wider community for the warm hospitality and continued support. Events like this strengthen our bonds and remind us of the power of unity, faith, and community spirit.

The Young Assyrians welcoming Ramsen Sheeno to the office

The Young Assyrians (TYA) were delighted to welcome Ramsen Sheeno to our office as a special guest at our first Board Meeting of 2026. It was a pleasure to host Ramsen and provide an opportunity for him to engage directly with our committee as we set the tone and direction for the year ahead.

During the meeting, our Board discussed TYA’s key goals, strategic priorities, and upcoming initiatives for 2026, focusing on youth engagement, cultural preservation, and community advocacy. Ramsen’s presence added valuable insight to the conversation, and we appreciated his willingness to share his experiences, perspectives, and recommendations with our team.

We sincerely thank Ramsen for his ongoing support of our youth and our work within the community. His encouragement and commitment to empowering the next generation of Assyrians are greatly valued, and we look forward to continued collaboration throughout the year.
