Formal Invitation to Fairfield City Police Area Command - Fairfield Crime Prevention -
The Assyrian National Council - Australia Inc (ANCA) and The Young Assyrians (TYA) were proud to attend the Fairfield Police Crime Prevention Summit 2025, on 11th June 2025, at Eden Venues. A vital forum addressing key challenges within the local community.
The event brought together community leaders, service providers, and law enforcement to discuss pressing issues such as hate crime, cybercrime, domestic violence, and coercive control.
A representative from The Young Assyrians took the opportunity to highlight the importance of proactive communication with young people, particularly around emerging legislative reforms.

Fundraiser Event -
On behalf of the Assyrian National Council – Australia (ANCA), we extend our sincere gratitude to Ms. Charishma Kaliyanda MP, State Member for Liverpool, and Mr. Nathan Hagarty MP, State Member for Leppington, for their kind invitation and steadfast commitment to our community.
It was an honour to attend the fundraiser evening marking the 30th anniversary of the election of the Carr Labor Government, a milestone in New South Wales's political history. The presence of the Hon. Bob Carr, former Premier and Minister for Foreign Affairs, and his inspiring reflections on the transformative impact of his leadership made the occasion especially memorable.
We also appreciate the many Members of Parliament in attendance, including Dr Hugh McDermott MP, State Member for Prospect, whose continued support for multicultural communities remains invaluable.
